Role Overview
At Pradako Mechanical & Engineering Works, technology plays a vital role in connecting our operations, production, quality, logistics, and global customer communications. We are looking for an IT Executive / Assistant to manage day-to-day infrastructure, network, system support, and software maintenance across locations.
You will be the go-to person for ensuring uninterrupted system functionality, IT security, and basic ERP coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware & Software Support
- Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain operating systems, antivirus software, and productivity tools (MS Office, etc.).
- Maintain IT asset registers and ensure AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) are up to date.
Network & Infrastructure
- Monitor and manage internet connectivity, routers, switches, LAN/WAN setup across departments.
- Handle basic server management and file-sharing systems.
- Ensure data backups, firewall settings, and network security protocols are in place.
ERP/System Coordination
- Coordinate with ERP vendors or software providers for bug fixes, user access, and functional enhancements.
- Support HR, Stores, Dispatch, and Accounts teams with ERP usage issues and training.
- Manage email configuration, system permissions, and access-level controls.
IT Administration & Security
- Ensure data privacy and IT policies are followed within the organization.
- Assist with CCTV system maintenance, biometric attendance integration, and access control.
- Maintain uptime logs, ticket tracking, and escalation resolution timelines.
Support During Audits & System Integrations
- Assist internal teams during ISO, IATF, or client audits by ensuring system logs, backups, and access records are up-to-date.
- Support integration of new tools, automation systems, or remote working setups if needed.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, basic networking tools.
- Knowledge of ERP or production software is an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting ability, communication skills, and responsiveness.
- Willingness to travel between plant units as needed.
