Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support our Raw Material to Finished Goods testing operations. You will be responsible for executing standard tests, maintaining records, and ensuring quality compliance as per ISO, IATF, and customer-specific standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine physical, mechanical, and metallurgical testing such as:
- Tensile, Hardness (Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers)
- Microscopic Analysis
- Coating Thickness (Delta Scope)
- Profile Projector Readings
- Torque-Tension Testing
- Spectrometer for material analysis
- Sample preparation and polishing for metallography and microstructure studies.
- Operate and maintain instruments such as:
- UTM, Impact Testing Machine, Eddy Current Tester, Microscope with Image Analyzer
- Record, report, and file test results as per lab SOPs and customer documentation needs.
- Ensure calibration of lab instruments and participate in internal audits.
- Support Quality Engineers in new product development, PPAP testing, and customer inspection.
- CHECKING REPORTS
Preferred Traits
- Familiar with lab safety protocols and ISO/IATF/ISO 17025 documentation.
- Basic computer knowledge – Excel, Word, and test report formatting.
- Experience in fastener or precision component testing preferred.
