Role Overview

At Pradako Mechanical & Engineering Works, ensuring smooth coordination between planning and production is critical to maintaining quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking experienced professionals for Production & PPC Control who will be responsible for end-to-end scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management across all production departments.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Coordination

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements, priority dispatches, and capacity.
• Prepare job cards and load production schedules across the following key departments:
• Wire Drawing
• Cold Forging
• Hot Forging
• Heat Treatment
• Surface Finishing (Plating/Coating)
• Zinc Flake Coating

Production Monitoring

• Track real-time progress of batches across each process stage and coordinate with shop floor supervisors for corrective actions in case of delays or breakdowns.
• Monitor WIP (Work-in-Progress) and ensure minimum idle time between departments.

Resource & Material Management

• Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for availability of raw material, tools, and consumables as per schedule.
• Optimize manpower and machine utilization across shifts.

MIS & Reporting

• Maintain daily production logs, deviation reports, and downtime data.
• Generate department-wise production efficiency and performance reports for management.

Interdepartmental Communication

• Liaise with Quality, Maintenance, Packing, and Dispatch teams to ensure alignment and adherence to timelines.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) with planning support for trials and pilot runs.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of manufacturing flow in fastener production.
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems and planning software.
• Ability to handle multi-department coordination and fast-paced production environments.
• Good analytical, communication, and follow-up skills.
