About the Role

We are seeking a disciplined, process-driven, and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to manage in-process and final quality checks, oversee compliance documentation, and drive continual improvement initiatives across our operations.
This role plays a key part in ensuring that every fastener manufactured meets or exceeds international standards such as ISO 898-1, ISO 3506, IATF 16949, and specific customer requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities
In-Process & Final Inspection
  • Conduct in-process inspections at key stages (cold forging, threading, heat treatment, plating) and support final product release.
  • Use standard measurement tools: micrometers, verniers, thread gauges, profile projectors, and hardness testers.
  • Ensure compliance with product drawings, customer specifications, and tolerance limits.
Testing & Quality Control
  • Perform or supervise mechanical and metallurgical testing:
  • Tensile, hardness (Rockwell/Vickers), impact, coating thickness, torque-tension
  • Maintain test records, batch traceability, and documentation for PPAP, FAI, and internal QC logs.
Documentation & Standards Compliance
  • Prepare and maintain:
  • Inspection Reports, Control Plans, FMEA, MSA, Calibration Logs
  • Ensure adherence to quality management systems:
  • ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 898-1, ISO 3506, RoHS, REACH
  • Participate in internal audits, process audits, and customer inspections.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for internal rejections and customer complaints.
  • Implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) and support Kaizen & lean manufacturing initiatives.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work closely with Production, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams to ensure quality targets are met.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and external labs for outsourced testing, material certification, and quality clearances.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in fastener or automotive component manufacturing.
  • Sound understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and sampling standards.
  • Familiarity with ERP/quality modules, MS Excel, and digital inspection records.
  • Clear communicator with problem-solving mindset and audit-readiness discipline.
