Role Overview

Efficient stores and warehousing are critical to keeping our production and dispatch running seamlessly. At Pradako Mechanical & Engineering Works, we are looking for experienced professionals to manage raw material, tooling, consumables, WIP, and finished goods inventory with discipline, accuracy, and traceability.

Key Responsibilities
Material Handling & Storage
  • Receive and verify incoming materials including:
  • Raw material wire coils
  • VARIOUS TYPES OF FASTENERS
  • Packing material, consumables, etc.
  • Tag, label, and store items as per 5S and FIFO/FEFO practices.
  • Organize materials systematically to minimize retrieval time and space wastage.
Issue & Receipt Documentation
  • Maintain issue slips, gate entry records, GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), and material issue registers.
  • Ensure timely issuance of raw materials, tools, and consumables to production and maintenance departments.
  • Record inward/outward movement of goods in ERP/manual logbooks.
Inventory Management
  • Conduct daily cycle counting and assist in monthly/quarterly physical stock audits.
  • Track minimum/maximum stock levels and coordinate for timely replenishment.
  • Prevent pilferage, material mismatch, and storage damage through standard practices.
Coordination & Reporting
  • Coordinate with planning, purchase, production, and dispatch teams for material movement and availability.
  • Assist in generation of MIS reports for RM, FG, and consumable stock status.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF requirements for traceability and material shelf-life.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with fasteners and engineering items.
  • Basic knowledge of measurement, identification, and handling of RM/tooling items.
  • Understanding of ERP/storekeeping software (optional but preferred).
